Wordpress admin no HTML and Code view??

    This issue has been with me for quite a while after I have upgraded the version of the wordpress. After the upgrade, I could not find the HTML / Code view tag whenever I am writing a post.. please refer to the following screen shot for more details:

    Can someone please help and tell me what are the things that possibly goes wrong here?

    Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

    It looks like you are already in the code viewer. Did you disable the rich text viewer?

    When your visual rich editor disappeared, check the Personal Options at Users to see if the “Use the visual rich editor when writing” is checked (at the top).

    click personal options on the right then check the box - visual rich editor

    I never ever use visual rich editor...it sucks and generally messes up your code.

    I have one of my blogs that does this and so I just use HTML codes as I know them. i never tried to figure out why.

    Please answer this? If you wanna edit your wordpress....and add tabs and stuff I need to upgrade it? like to edit the HTML im going to have to upgrade?

    That editor in wordpress is a nightmare!
    A few days ago I lost the ability to switch from code to design view, then I noticed problems with the image uploader, it let me upload images but wouldn't send them into my post and since then things have gone from bad to worse and I now sit with the problem of having to completely re-install wordpress!

    There is a lot more to the story but it all basically started off because editor

    Thank you very much! I should have go into the Users tab instead of the options..

    I find that the HTML editor works greatly when I am rewriting, after I write on the code editor.
