Wordpress admin login redirect problem

When I try to login to my site by going to www.mysite.com/wp-admin, I keep getting redirected to this link www.mysite.com/wp-login.php?redirect_to=/wp-admin/admin.php

It is driving me crazy. Any idea what I can do to log in. This is a new site and I haven't been able to log in yet.

wp-admin is a older and if you try to login it will redirect you to the wp-login.php and if login is right it will redirect you to admin.php


Just write your username of wordpress
and password

 

I did that straight in the database but it keeps telling me my log in is incorrect.

 

no problem at all. Just login as usual. Or just choose from meta..

 

I got it working guys. I deleted my user profile, then readded it, and that fixed it.

 

Instead of login using http://www.mysite.com/wp-admin use http://www.mysite.com/wp-login.php and you would not face the problem. The actual login url for admin is http://www.mysite.com/wp-login.php

It wouldn't hadn't been a problem except , I have six other blogs that I log in using /wp-admin/, but this one I bought was different. But at least I was able to get it to work.
