Wordpress admin cp - permalinks option not working correctly

Ok, I tried to change my permalinks option to custom and type in this:

http://www.chrisguthrie.net/%postname%/

but after it updates it ends up like this:

/http:/www.chrisguthrie.net/%postname%/

and messes with the url's to my posts. Any ideas on how to fix this?

 

You only put this in:

/%postname%/

Col

 

All you need to do is put %postname ...don't put your domain name in front and it'll work

 

Ok, lol last time I tried that I got an internal server 500 error. Hopefully it was something unrelated.
