WordPress 404 not found error for some post

    Hi all, suddenly I checked my Google webmaster tools I have more thousand 404 errors, some of them is not WordPress related but many of them is WordPress post. All post is exist.

    I checked permalink or mod_rewrite is enabled (both was enabled from beginning of this site) but can't figure out, because this problem is not appearing for all post or pages, only some post giving error.

    I tested these post with WordPress Post Preview option under edit mode, preview also showing 404 not found error.

    Has anyone faced this issue before?

    Perhaps you just change your permanent link format in past and google indexed old URL format.
    In order to remove non-existing URL from Google Search find all Bad URL from Google Webmaster Crawl Error
    And for future, don't change Permanent link format

    For WordPress Use plugin All 404 Redirect to Homepage

    Hi thanks but its not that problem, actually all link exist but not worked, finally I found problem and fixed it.
