Wordpress 301 Redirects are not working or breaking other stuff

    I read every Wordpress 301 post on this forum and non helped so hoping someone can help!

    Yesterday I changed my blog url from

    http://www.grocerypricebooks.com/grocerypriceblog/
    to
    http://www.grocerypricebooks.com/blog/

    The blog itself seems to be working fine but the 2 most common redirects that I found for all of my incoming links is not working.     The problem is that any of those codes fix one issue but break the other. If I fix all the links ON my blog, all the incoming links are messed up but if I fix all the incoming I screw up the blog. I just tried two more conditionals but they all cancel each other out.

    Why not just edit your 404 page for 301 redirection?

    That isn't really going to help me as far as having google index things. I don't want them to have to re-index everything.
