I am using Wordpress version 2.7.1. Everytime I try to update automatically, I also seem to end up with an Insufficient Permission or Internal Error 500 Pages. The same thing happens with automatic update of plugins. In older versions, it was easier to update. How do you update this version? Edit: I used the Automatic Updater Plugin for wordpress and it worked fine. I am on Version 2.8.2. I have One-Click Plugin Updater but I am getting Internal Server Error on clicking 'Upgrade All' or even Upgrade. Anyone can help in adjusting this plugin? The permissions are set right. And someone please explain this part of the theme to me. ====How To Post a featured image====== - The path of featurd images is wp/content/theme/dawnbreak/images/posts/ - To include a featured image, we use custom fields. 1. To post a main featured image, the key should be "MainFeaturedPost" (remove the quotes) and the value: file name. For example wind.jpg Just remember the size of MainFeaturedPost should be 160px × 210px. All Posts should include the MainFeaturedPost custom field in order for the blog to work ALWAYS.
I have always had issues with both of those plugins on certain hosts depending on the servers security settings. You shouldn't need to use the One-Click or the Automatic Updater Plugins. Those features are now part of the WordPress core. Deactivate both plugins, for plugin updates you will need to do them one at a time.
Visit the WP support page for this. http://wordpress.org/support/topic/279132 As for your theme try http://www.yoursite.com/wp-content/theme/dawnbreak/images/posts/wind.jpg
Glad you got it sorted. When I upgraded all went fine (except) I had lost the WYSIWYG editor. Not an big deal for me as I rarely used it, but still haven't got that sorted out yet. The second link http://www.yoursite.com/wp-content/theme/dawnbreak/images/posts/wind.jpg where it says "yoursite.com" change that to your domain. See the example picture below. You may also need to chmodd 777 whatever folder houses the images in this case Posts would be it.
