Are you using WordPress 2.7? The admin area is really improved in my opinion and it has some other goodies as well but it has some flaws in my opinion and one of them is the introduction with duplicate URLs for comment pages that is turned on by default. I wrote about that with solution and a number of other things in my latest article: Hacks to boost your WordPress 2.7 blog Is there any other cons by using the latest Wordpress in your opinion?
Yeah, I love it. Some of those tips on your blog are awesome, by the way. I added it to my Google Reader.
Ok, great. I recommend you to turn off the comment setting for breaking comments into pages that unfortunately has been put on by default. (This is under Settings –> Discussion). See my article above for more info.
thanks for this great tips bro.. anyway about post revision if you really need this feature but didn't want to blow up your database, maybe the revision control plugin is the choice. I use it for some of my wordpress site Note: sorry i can't post any links here, just search that plugin on wordpress extend
Thats an interesting "catch". Duplicate content is only a problem if it effects your getting "credit" for the indexed page. While I agree with and can see other potential problems Google will filter out the dupes. Seems like they should have addressed this issue and fixed it, but with open source products the developers may have thought it was not a big deal. Or they may secretly be trying to overwhelm google and force a change in the way they view duplicates (Wouldn't that be interesting). I like 2.7 and the autoupgrade is a long time coming. But I'm not using it much because it is incompatible with many premium templates I use and not all plugins I use are working properly. Sometimes if it ain't broke don't fix it really applies. I'd like to see Wordpress code a radio button into the post pages that allows you to turn off the time/date stamp by post. This would make Wordpress that much better as a CMS system. Not everyone wants to build a gigantic blog and not everyone needs a date stamp on their static content.
I'm using it on one of my main sites. It's really nothing spectacular, imho. I liked the old one too.
I love the new wordpress 2.7, it's very stylish. The admin user panel interface is very easy to understand than previous version. In fact, search engine like google love wordpress very much. I prefer using wordpress rather than build free blog on blogspot. My wordpress blog got indexed really fast. Less in 24 hours. That's why I lovee wordpress.
