Wordpress 2.7.1, Removing blogroll ect...

    Basically i have not used wordpress in long while, and recently setup a new installation, ive uploaded my themes and now wandering how do i remove all the unwanted side links like "blogroll, archives, meta ect...." and also how do i add new ones with my own category name too???

    you need to edit sidebar.php file of theme which you are using.

    go appearance, click widget then add or remove ... remember save before exit

    You can also just click on "links" and delete all the links that are appearing in blog roll.

    Yeah but i want to totally remove the whole thing because its not needed, also the other sections like archives ect....

    Then better for you as suggested by 1st poster. Go and remove it from sidebar.php which you don't want.

    Wow didnt actually realise how much you can mess around in there, its great!!!! not overally to hard to do either, have been messing around alot and fully customising this template
