Wordpress 2.6 & Shift Gears

Hi All,

Is using Shift Gears in wordpress 2.6 good enough for preventing my server from crashing if I got on the front page of say digg, or should I use WP Super Cache or both of them.

 

Gears have nothing to do with Digg, it simply caches the javascript and almost zero percent of the people uses them. Ya should use either Hyper Cache or Super Cache for digg/SU.
