word press url structure

    trying to change my url structure to show dates of each post.

    every time i change from default, to date based, my posts become page not found, is this a .htaccess issue? thanks.

    Well, could be 2 things - .htaccess issue (make sure it has the re-write stuff in it) and try updating your permalink structure: Admin->Options->Permalinks

    im sure its .htaccess as after i update it it tells me to change .htaccess, would you be willing to take a look for me?
