Word press or blogspot

which one is better blog word press or blogspot. I mean I create a blog in word press will it be crawled by google more often? or is it better to create a blog in blogspot, and which blog is better to get quick PR?

 

No doubt both are good !! Just you need to make a decision, I do have blogs in both..

 

I think you'd better set up a blog with your own domain name and hosting

 

Wordpress with your own domain and hosting.
and for even free one, still wordpress will be better.

 

I prefer wordpress over blogger. Though you can't put adsense on wordpress.

 

I think standalone blogs have more "authority", but with services like wordpress or blogger you get incorporated into community easier and faster

if blogger has All-in-one-SEO plugin + Akismet + dosh dosh template + membership plugin + too many nice templates, I will consider switching.

I´m using both of them, but I find definitely wordpress better cms then blogger. Way too much plugins, themes, innovations, etc, etc...

 

I like wordpress. There are also hundreds of widgets for Wordpress.

If u just want to get familiar with the blogging stuff then both are ok... Go for Wordpress if u are planningto later set up ur own domain with WP...but if u want to stay on a free blog host and want to earn at the same time then go for blogger ... as WP free host doesn't allow Adsense I guess ...

 

WP is more good for Seo purpose, and it has a large platform as compare to blogspot. you can customize ur wp blog according to ur needs by using plugins, widgets. And its seo friendly.

 

It really doesn't matter - you just need to try both platforms and decide which you like the best. They can both be adapted to rank high in google and gain good PR.

The main point is the think ahead and see if you will want to sell the domain/site in the future. If the answer is yes, then you are best to go for a self hosted worpress blog (wordpress.org) - makes the process easier when you come round to sell it.
