Word Press Issue

Apparently I am having issues with my latest blog. I have installed Word Press.. the same files I have used with all my other blogs. When I write a post and want to switch from Visual Editor to HTML editor I cant. I click on HTML and nothing happens.

I have checked my user option settings and everything seems to be the way it should be?

 

The theme that you are using is it for the right wordpress upgrade?

 

reset your blog to default settings...disable any plugnis you are using and then try.....

 

I have tried on the default Word Press theme.. and I never got around to activating any plug-ins.

 

This usually occurs for tiny mce editor that came with the old versions, which version of wp are you planning to install?

 

Its the latest 2.6 version.

 

You know - same thing happened to me and I am sorry that I can't remember what I did to correct that problem. I would reinstall WP (backup files first of course).

There's a plugin for the editor - an advance version.

I'll check back with you if I remember.

Anyway to the OP, if it's a new installation I'd probably just reinstall it from scratch. This isn't a problem that should be happening on a fresh installation (with no additional plugins or themes installed yet).

 

Its strange because its the exact same install as my other blogs... Oh well..

I had no posts or anything as it was all being setup from that GoDaddy .99 cent domain code. So I just reset all the hosting.. terminated the DB and will try again from fresh. Fresh download of Word Press also.

 

Still to no avail.. Nothing works.. oh well..
