Wordpress is excellent for SEO, and you definitely don't need knowledge of PHP... there are plenty of plugins to help you out.
blog is very good way to boost your site up.WP did it well in both both designing & developing categories. it gives you no. of free & classic themes. It allows you to install different plugins as per your requirement.Wp is important, coz its blog nature, in blog you always give fresh content, general information and any thing you love to do.
WP is ideal for SEO, I've now made the transition from manually designing content sites to using WordPress. In my opinion, its probably the best thing since sliced bread. The new version of WP 2.7+ is amazing as you can literally install plugins directly from wordpress, no need to upload any plugins. You can install the All in One SEO pack, which shoudl give you a LOT of control over the page titles, descriptions etc. As mentioned above, Google alsoe loves WP and you will find that if you also use the 'tags', you will get lots of pages indexed in google very quickly. Enable trackbacks and you can get pages indexed very quickly indeed. Its so effective that I was testing a site which was not live and even this got indexed...lol Anyway, good luck. Zaheer
