All websites that build in word press, are not easily indexed at search engines. Which settings that word press do by default w.r.t SEO? Which SEO tags and SEO settings that word press by default insert into our website?
i think that most of the sites that uses wordpress are quickly indexed on search engines only compulsion that they need to have is to have original and unique content as duplicate content in whichever format is always ignored by search engines... moreover, if wordpress unique written posts are not indexed then just submit the sitemap to the search engines Hope it helps...
>>All websites that build in word press, are not easily indexed at search engines. the most easy way is to use feedburner and u will see each page will be submitted in less than 5 mins
So, u mean, if i am blogging original contents, then, i should not post in another place ?? for example, i blog on my own hosted website, but i always posted one copies in blogger.com just to make a mirror site. so, it's a bad idea then? ***** sorry, didn't mean to hi-jack the thread, i think it's all interelated **** thanks in advance
you are just totally wrong. i can make a wordpress based website, and can get it indexed within 30 minutes for sure. believe me Wordpress is jus an awesome platform.
I agree with tinimini, all my wordpress website are index pretty quick and I have 14 of them. I get about 300 uniques a day on one of them and she is only 3 months old. Try using a good sitemap plugin, also ping plugin service you will see a big different change in traffic, also Seo platinum plugin this work great, thats what I aways do and it work for my sites.
I have tested some of my wordpress sites and posts can be indexed in 10 minutes. Make sure you change the url options to the post name instead of date and id.
Check your set-up of blogs using google webmaster tools, if anything is missing that might be blocking the search engine for better crawling, also I would suggest you to use plugin, download it from here.
check your robots txt isnt set to noindex. it used to be set like that by default out of the box i think
Change your Permalink structure to the following: /%category%/%postname%/ Code (markup): This will change it so that your URL displays your category name, and your post title instead of the number of the post. This will turn your URL into keywords and make it easier to rank up in Google and other search engines. If you would like some other ways to make your wordpress blog more SEO friendly, please check out my blog post: getsomecashonline.com/search-engine-optimization-seo/make-wordpress-search-engine-friendly/ Code (markup): It goes over nice ways to make your Wordpress Blog much more search engine friendly and will definately increase your pagerank and much more.
my site is not getting indexed, Last day i was checking the sode of my site then i remove <meta name="robots" content="noindex, nofollow" /> . It might be possible that this tag is inserted by default by wordpress. and robots.txt file with ' Disallow: / ' parameter found at server. Nobody upload that file server. please tell me Which SEO tags and SEO settings that word press by default insert into our website?
I think wordpress blogs get indexed fast. Any site can get indexed fast. Use webmaster tools, and build some relevant backlinks, this will help to get your blogs index faster.
Dear i m using webmaster tools ad continuously review all stats. An error Urls are restricted by robots.txt is shown by Webmaster tools, but i did not upload robot.txt file. but i found robots.txt with Disallow parameter but I m unable to look up the path where actually robot.txt exist at server. can u tell me path to reach robots.txt file.
Check that And it is not inserted by default by Worpress, but it is set by YOU during installation. And finally - it has nothing to do with SEO.
