I posted my adult site at a couple boards and then wated about a week and installed statcount because i noticed a lot of bandwidth getting used. Ther is my traffic and 95% of its coming from word of mouth, messenger clients like yahoo messenger and so on as i assume because im not finding any hardlinks generating me traffic. So is this site off to a good start? or is this average for a new site?
Duh. I already did. Thats the first thing I did, obviously. It still can't be read clearly, as you already know. Or are you like a lot of the other posters here...in your own little world? Jesus, man, just post the figures so they can give you what you are after. Ugh.
Very good amount of UV's for a site that new. Word of mouth is very important to be honest. The good thing is that word of mouth usually builds lots of returning customers.

The only thing that suggest that it's not word of mouth is the amount of returning visitors which is very low. Not many people recommend a site and then don't visit it themselves. Other than that, yeah looks good
I agree but statcounter tracks return visitors in a poor way. They do not log an ip that comes back to the site within 24 hours. They consider a return visitor someone that visits the site 2 or more times in an hour and that is the reason why the returns are so low. Its an adult site and people come to it im sure to pleasure there self. I doubt most people will do this 2 times an hour
It looks like you got off to a great start from what I can tell with the stats you posted. Btw, you're right about statcounter logging visitors, but double check that log against your cpanel logs. You can also set up Google alerts to see if and where people are posting your URL so you know where and who is spreading the word. Mary
heh, your firefox probably scales it to smaller... so you gotta click the pic again in imageshack Looks quite ok, although I would recommend getting Google Analytics for tracking traffic. It's easy and free and all that... I think the number of 'returning visitors' seems so that it could need improvement. Without seeing your site, I wonder if you could re-work on the layout to make people stay... and have newsletter/rss feeds or something similar (unless you already have those)?
Its seems my traffic has doubled since i made this post In 12 hours i have logged almost 1500 visitors I did find out where an ok chunk of the traffic is coming from. i just never expected for my site to grow this fast Its kinda crazy

Its not a problem i dont think But may come into one if i dont start making some bank and a vs or ds is required
