Woothemes or RocketTheme

So basically, gotta decide whether to go for :
    http://www.woothemes.com/themes/
    or
    http://www.rockettheme.com/wordpress-themes

Now, as far as the looks go, I'm not too concerned as I like both, but since I'm going in for the 1 year developer subscription, what DOES matter is the quality of support and quality of the development of the themes

In general, as I understand, both companies are good so now I'm wondering about the option

Feedback on which option to go in for would be much appreciated!..

The decision is up to you.

I also like the WP themes from elegantthemes.com and themeforest.net.

If it was me i would go with neither if you can afford to have your own unique theme made....

however i cant afford that so i would go with either of them, they both have great themese

Woothemes are nice, but you much more problems when you work for clients with them, because some themes aren't suitable for IE and other stuff.
    ElegantThemes is also nice.

Depends on what you're going for. Are you just building one site, or several? What industry...so many questions.

Some of the themes of Woothemes are not user-friendly. Haven't tried with RocketTheme yet. I believe themeforest is better.

    Cheers,

I've used WooThemes and found their support helpful, that's my vote. I haven't used RocketTheme before but at a glance their themes look more photoshop built, less user-friendly, and less SEO friendly.

If you're fine with either price, I'd go for WooThemes. They have more themes, they release twice as many in any given month and they have a good reputationf or quality and support. But with that said I don't know much about Rocket Themes. It also matters which themes you are more likely to use. WooThemes has a nice variety (and so does Elegant Themes).

If you had to choose between the two options, go for Woothemes. But I personally would recommend Thesis or Headway because they offer a lot more flexibility in the long term. In the future (when you develop more skills in WP), you might want to modify the theme. Woothemes are good for newbies who want to get started quickly but they are terribly inflexible, unlike Thesis or Headway. I considered Pagelines Platform Pro too - it has a lot of features but was too slow for me. Thesis is a great investment for the medium term (once off payment; free upgrades for life) but does involve a bit of a learning curve if you want to make your site look nice.
