In regards of payments and all that stuff.

Clickbank doesn't actually care how old are you. They either send you a check or Direct Deposit, so in either case you need to have a bank account.

As long as you have an account with a bank, you can put your name as the payee.

    Nice Work!

The only problem is... you probably won't get that much excited again for a while!

For some reason, my first sale was still more exciting then days I've gotten 10+. You will ALWAYS remember that first sale!

I read the official clickbank information and it seems like you only need to provide your social security if your a u.s resident AND you earn over 600. So Im guessing youll get paid as long as you earn less than that. I've never been paid by clickbank but ive left the SS section blank and should be expecting a payout soon, so well see.

Hey congrats kiddo - very respectable and I will agree with the others regarding your first sales, you'll never forget this.

You're from Canada - don't worry about the taxid/ss, yes you can put your name as long as you have a bank account in your name to deposit to as stated above. Your parents are right in that they will pay more on taxes as you are getting gross income (say you make 10K, you'll still have to pay taxman 2-3K). So if they deposit it and give you 10K, they probably lose more, and it might bring them to the next taxbracket where they pay even more... When tax season hits you'll simply pay as per your accountants statements on your earnings.

Smartest thing you can do for now kiddo, in Canada - is to register a Sole P. business (like $70 and can be done online). Open a business account at your bank, open a US funds account as well - and soon you'll be able to get CB to wire your money directly to your US account (once you reach the CB DD requirements). Watch the conversion rates through the year and when there is a big CAD/US split in your favor re currency exchange, you exchange it as well. Mind you - you get taxed on it anyway and the guv takes an annual avg for the exchange, this is the best way to maximize and organize your CB earnings for a CAD fella.

    Cheers,
    N.

Not sure what the boundaries are - but I'm with CIBC, and have a business account which is split into a CAD and US currency account - at CB you just fill in the DD info for your US side (so technically you're not opening a new account, you're just adding a US currency account within your existing business account).

    Hope that helps.
