    I ran a Woorank SEO analysis and they told me to add something like the following to my header of my website:

    <script type="application/ld+json">
    {
      "@context" : "http://schema.org",
      "@type" : "Organization",
      "name" : "WooRank",
      "url" : "https://www.denverdonate.com",
      "sameAs" : [
        "https://twitter.com/denverdonate",
        "https://plus.google.com/b/104321226001196633695/104321226001196633695/posts?gmbpt=true&pageId=104321226001196633695",
        "https://www.facebook.com/https://www.facebook.com/Denver-Donate-1663975313864346/",
        "https://foursquare.com/v/donate-car-denver/56cc6009498e8faba77f4f99",
    ]
    }
    </script>
    Code (markup):
    (they also said add Yelp, but I don't have a Yelp link)

    My question is, this is the first time I have seen an SEO recommendation to add such a script. It doesn't generate visible onsite reference. Does anyone know what exactly this does?

    So this is a schema markup. What it does is add rich media to your search results. Reviews, pricing, dates, etc... It enhances your search results which typically result in better CTR.

    got to schema.org to learn more about schema.
