For those of you who don't know woorank.com, it's a tool to check your sites against various rules (SEO, traffic, HTML validity, speed etc). I've been using the woorank tool for a while now, but there are some sections I have questions about. If you know anything more about them, let me know. Section Social Monitoring - Twitter Account I have a twitter account, however, the username is not entirely the same as the domainname and woorank doesn't detect it. I have links to it on the homepage. How do I make woorank detect it ? SEO keywords - Keyword cloud This seems to be filled with small general words. Isn't there a filter or general words exclusion? Same goes for Keywords Consistency SEO Authority - Related Websites It shows totally unrelated websites and I'm not sure how it finds them Usability - Conversion Forms Are we supposed to have conversion forms on the homepage ??? I can understand the newsletter subscription etc, but sales forms are on their respective product pages in my case.
You can check 1 website every week, i only use it for 1 site to track changes, so once a week is quite enough for me
There are some pretty irrelevant information, generally for seo analyzing, in woorank report such are related websites and a few more. You're right "related websites" are so not related to the site that you are checking, most of the time. I have also checked Twitter backlinks and it's definitely not working, it isn't about your domain or Twitter's username. Conversion forms are ok, but they are also a little irrelevant in that section, because all other issues from usability are the key one. And yes, I agree there should be more keywords in the keyword cloud. You can try http://tutor.rs because Tutor web review tool is free and it gives so much useful information. I think you'll like it.
First of all... no need to panic, woorank is just an SEO guide based on what the woorank team think is good for your SEO. Woorank has nothing to do with your index, PR or whatsoever. True, many of the things that the woorank checker suggest are correct, but not all of them are relevant to getting or not getting traffic. A tip? Use woorank to check: Meta tags txt/html ratio Social monitoring SEO Keywords Usability And remember, woorank is just a guide. Hope it helps
