woops - images indexing

    I thought I'd share this with you since there might be people with the same problem.

    I am using joomla (old mambo) as a CMS for my website and I have no problems at all after some minor hacks and fixes but I kept on scratching my head about why Google and others never indexed my images.

    Well I just found out why ...
    joomla and mambo comes with a standard robot text file and I guess you know what is coming next.

    there is a line which says
    Disallow: /images/

    If you too are having problems with your images not getting indexed than check your robots file if you use mambo or Joomla and remove that line.

    Just thought I would share.

    i'm using joomla for my sites . i have removed it Disallow: /images/ line from when installed my joomla
