How many websites do you have to make 1K?

just wondering...how much do you spend on advertsing to achieve this mark

 

This is almost all from one site >90%

I have never done any advertising. I got a free adwords coupon from something and did about $8 worth of campaigns once but it did not do me any good.

I have had personal websites for a long time that made no money. One family site and a hobby blog. Neither made any money but were indexed well. When I started trying to make money I put a link on each of these. After that it was all viral.
