Contest Wood Themed Logo $30 - 2 day contest

    We need a logo to sit on a white background. It is for a wooden flooring company based in London, UK - they fit, sand and stain wooden floors. We would like wood used in the logo but it should not look eithered too weathered or too perfect. It needs to look like real wood or wood floor boards in good condition.

    The text should read "Quicksand Flooring Ltd" and can incorporate the tagline "Floor Sanding & Renovation Specialists".

    These do not look professional enough - except the one from skarizta which is porfessional but the wood is not clear enough.

    I like the idea of this one - the S in the Q is not clear enough and it just lacks a bit of polish.

    There is an "q" and an "s" in the logo, and also the logo represents floor tiles.

    Skaritza - yes I like that effect and it works with or without the background image. Is there anyway to lift the first version as its a bit boring with plain brown on white.
