I finally topped 100 subscribers to my newsletter. These emails are verified so I know that each person is truly enjoying the material! I found a bug within my website and it was preventing users from registering- I fixed it and now I'm seeing around 5 signups a day . How many subscribers do I need to start selling ads in newsletters and actually make some money?
Well done i remember when i got to that figure im now in the high xxx Get aroung 1000 and it will be easy to sell ad space
I touched that long back and wrote an article here at DP as to how I did that please read it and leave your comments http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=645533
I want to know whether there are people whose blog is not under a particular niche, but still has a lot of subscribers
Well done, any targeted list is a good thing. "they" reckon that each list member is woth $1 a month, if you send out offers and they are buyers. I have just watched a rather good video by a guy called Frank Kern, I believe his niche list is 600,000 Good info, although as always they are selling stuff. Nowt wrong with that as that is why we are all here. comparco.
Congratulations on your milestone, and good luck with building up and eventually monetizing that readerbase!
Congratulations on hitting that landmark. That is awesome, i cant wait until I get to that point. If you don't mind me asking how long did it take you to get that many readers.
It took about a month or two, but as I said, I had a huge setback because my signup link was broken for probably a few weeks, and I just noticed a few days ago . Traffic is largely from wikipedia and stumbleupon. Seeing more and more from google though
Congrats bud. I'm stuck at 99 for the past three days ( ) but when I do I'll celebrate (I presume you're talking about RSS subscribers). I did 110 subscribers to my newsletter in three days (the last three actually) - stuff is so much easier when you're giving away something free
Nope! I'm talking about opt-in email subscribers. I just started an RSS feed a week or so ago, and it has around 15 subscribers I think. But I really push the newsletter, and don't advertise the feed much. I think newsletter subscribers are worth more
