Won't you review my humble site?

I've been mulling over the creation of this site ever since I got a new CR-48 Google netbook as part of their pilot program. I wanted to share my findings with the world so I created this blog as a tribute to Google Chrome, Chrome OS, the CR-48, and anything related. This is the first time I'm seriously devoting enough time for a website. There's not a lot of content up on the site yet but I'm planning on churning out 2-3 articles per day.

After reviewing my blog, please answer this question for me:

Does this site (and this niche) have enough potential to generate enough revenue from ads to pay for the hosting costs ($4-5 per month)?

It does look good and I can't really fault the website. I understand that it's a blog but could you not have any more links at the top? Possibly a Contact button?
And what's the big deal with Chrome anyway? What makes it better than any other browser? I'm not looking for an arguement, I'm just intrigued :D

Thanks -- I'll try to pin down the cause of the JS errors (error referencing jQuery function). As for the purpose of the site, the Chrome and Chromium project extend to more than just a browser. It's also an Ubuntu based operating system now.
