    Hello,
I have tried to submit my site to numerous directory manually. And I get the same error on most all them.

URL Cant be added. Either we could not connect to your server, or the URL is not valid. Your URL already exsist.

My URL is only about 4 months old, it is not in these directories and everything is ok with servers and the URL is valid.

Can anyone tell me what the problem is please?

Please put your url here and then after we can suggest you better.

    Most common reasons are

If you url contain "-" like my-domain-domain.com then also directories will not accept your url.

If you url seems like subdomain or seems like deep page then also some directory will give your error message like please put your homepage url here. Example : my-domain.com/index.html.

If directories are not able to ping your site then also give you an error message like your url is not valid or more and its due to http:// or www so please check your url carefully before submit. Some directories will not allow you to submit there without http:// or without www.

    Thanks :)

I think this is script validation error. No worries just move on to next directories.

Your url changed to http://shawnsitsolutions.com automatically when we are using it with www.

It can be reason of your rejection.

I have not idea for this problem i think it can be htaccess problem, i think any senior member can advice you better than me.

Also, try to make some text in your site (left side and middle of page) visible, change gray color to blue or any more according to your site.

    Thanks :)

Your site uses redirection from www to non-www. So, just submit without www, or disable the redirection.

Your redirecting is working from www. to non, but the tool I used to check it gave a 302 Found code. People use 302's for temporary redirecting and many directories will reject your domain based on this alone.

Correct your redirection so that it returns a permanent 301 redirect and then submit your web site using the correct URL. If you want your site to run without the www. then it is pointless submitting it with one.

Normally when submitting to directories, there are shall be around 30% with submission problems, so don't worry too much about that, just keep submitting.
