Won't Install Plugins on Client

Because of the New Linkpoint CC Authorize issue with the pem file I ended up having to reinstall Filemaker 6 and the Workstation Install for Optigold.

I am having a problem when I install the client. It keeps telling me that the Some Network plugins not installed and now I am unable to send email etc.

when I go to My Stuff- System Prefs all of the information is gone except for the basic plugins. CC Authorize SMTP POP etc are now all blank.

    What do I do now?

    Please help.

Running Mac OS 9 with Filemaker 6 and Optigold 3.37

I have downloaded and tried to reinstall Optigold several times.

    Thank you,

    James

I don't think the new JavaCompanion architecture works with OS9 anymore unfortunately.

Is there a web address I can go to to download an upgrade for the cc authorize plugin or do I have to do another workstation install?

I would rather just upgrade the plugin to get it to work with Linkpoint.

    Current Version
    OG 3.37
    CC Auth. 2.8.1

    Thank you

Did anyone get this working? I checked my versions and they are OG 3.37 and CCAuth 2.8.1. Do I need to upgrade the CCauth? If so where do I get the program and how do I install it in Optigold.

I am using Mac OS 9 with Opti 3.37 and CCAUth 2.8.1. When I tried to reinstall the workstation plug-in from optigold with the new optigold (3.37) installer, it throws the Java Companion out of whack and does not install the network plugins. As I undertsand it, this is the only way to upgrade/update the CC Auth plugin in Optigold so I ordered Mac OSX for this particular system and will be adding that later today and let you know if the upgrade works and updates the CC Auth Plugin.

    Thank you,

Well I found out on my system it did not do a CCAuth Upgrade because I did a server install on my computer to upgrade the files. I went did a Workstation install now and it upgraded my CCAuth. I generated my p12 file on the acmetech website, but now when I try to process it says no passord supplied. Where do I put the password for this?

I tried to put it in under the billing prefs and now it says cannot read merchant config file or it is empty when I try to run a card!! I feel like i'm close but no dice.

    Hey Mb7:

    Here is what I did.

I had to upgrade to Mac OSX then do a WORKSTATION install with the latest Optigold installer from their website (http://www.digitalpoint.com)

When you go to the acme website to change your .pem file into the new .p12 format, make sure you use the SAME PASSWORD as your Linkpoint Store. This worked for me.

Make sure you save this new file to your FileMake Java Extensions Folder in your FileMaker Pro Folder.

    IN OPTIGOLD:

    Under MAINTEN/PREFS > GENERAL PREFS >

    Select Billing

Credit Cards Authorized via Cardservice LinkPoint
HUB IP 216.66.211.227 (this is linkpoints ip address)
    HUB Port Number 1129
Credit Card Authorization Login (Enter your Store Number)
Credit Card Authorization Password (Enter your Store Password)

Then Down Next to Authorization Customer ID (Enter your Store Number again)

After enetering all of these settings as above, my CC Auth Now Works with Optigold and Linkpoint on a Mac OSX System.

    James :)
