    From long ago we the Bangladeshi are listening i.e paypal will start it's operation in Bangladesh.But it has become only dream.Till now found no light of that.Now a days from various local news media we have come to know that "with in 2-3 months paypal will start it's operation in Bangladesh.Recently papal has signed a MOU with Bangladeshi Govt. own bank Sonali bank.Does anyone one here has any valid reference of it?

    Zunaid Ahmed Palak, State Minister of ICT division, Bangladesh said that I hope to tell you a good news soon regarding Paypal. He indicated not confirmed that Paypal may start in Bangladesh from 1st-2nd week of this August.

    The short answer is no, it's not coming soon. Besides the issue of rampant money laundering in Bangladesh, the Central bank of Bangladesh has thrown up too many roadblocks for Paypal to operate. These issues are primarily to do with the foreign exchange policy of the bank, repatriation of funds and direct account deposits among other issues.
