Greetings everyone, as you can all see, this is my very first post. I can not believe how active this forum is Anyway, just introducing myself and while I'm at it, I would love for some of the experts of adsense to please make me see the light on something. I'm very new to adsense and have already set up an account and have obtained my adsense codes and placed them all on my sites. I invested many weeks into getting all this done as I am ms perfect and want every detail perfect or I walk Only thing I have not done yet, is go live with all my adsense work sites. Here's why. Today I found out that the domain I used to register with google's adsense account is about to expire in 7 days, I am letting it expire (good thing I found out about it before I went live). This domain is not very attractive and is too long anyway LOL So I bought myself a more attractive domain which I'm very pleased with. I want to know if I can still use the same adsense codes from my old domain and use them on my new domain as if nothing's changed or do I have to create another account with my new domain? OMG I hope not If I can still use the codes (ads) on my new domain, how or what would I need to do on my part to play it safe and not get in trouble with google and still get paid per click successfully? Thanks in advanced MsPearl
Only 1 adsense account is needed for all your sites...you need not to make diff accounts..so just chill and start working
The domain which you wrote on your AdSense application is doesn't matter. Google used this domain to check if you have a real website, that's all. You can use the same account without doing notifying Google to AdSense code is not depended on the original domain. More then that Google does not allowed to use multiple AdSense account.
No problem, but wait, even if your old domain name doesn't suit you, could you think about how old it is and if it has links pointing to it already? Is it well placed on google? Does it have google pagerank? Maybe you shouldn't let it go just because of $10 renewal..
u are doing well.work hardly o promot urs web site and never try to cheat to google adsense u will be successful one day soon best of luck
It will be useful if you go through the other threads... and as mentioned getting a google page rank is difficult.. wishing you best of luck
Thanks to all. You have all given me great advice indeed! Have another silly question (for today). I've noticed on my page, I chose "text and graphics" ads and not sure if that's a smart move or not. I've seen ads on my page of banners but it doesn't say "ads by google", in fact it doesn't say "ads by" at all. Are these google ads that we get pay per click also if not ads from google, do we still get pay per click no matter who's from? lol Thanks again to all! Ms. Pearl
Phewww!! Finally got it all together and uploaded my pages with my new domain name. I'm so proud of myself for such an dedication to make this work out... I put so much time and effort into this that I can finally relax now and just concentrate on getting QUALITY traffic to my sites ... Now I'm learning to read and understand the "earnings back office thing". I checked it few hours after I uploaded all my hardwork (2 hrs ago) and already see some activities but there's a column that reads "clicks" and shows a number 4 and another column that says something like " e-CPM " which I'm not sure what it means and under that column it reads $200.00 so I suspect that the $200.00 is googgle's piece and mine is the smaller piece next to it LOL Oh well, if I'm wrong, someone please correct me. Hope my hard work pays off LOL Happy 4th of JULY!!! Ms Pearl
