You are truly worth admiration! Do you walk on water too?

Nice try ;) Not enough posts have passed to rewrite the history so soon. Lest we forget, it all started with your attempts to deflect some heat from your terrorist supporting friend when I said:

    Have you tried ginseng?

Duly noted. However, informing someone of a position, in which they've already taken has no special meaning. Not unlike buying a car, when the buyer notes the car is red, and the salesman follows up with "that car is red." I certainly wouldn't classify that as over-achievement.

The problems of the world are not at hand. The "rap sheet," the attention getter, for those that make excuses for their actions (you know the type, right?) is not indicative of "problems of the world." To suggest otherwise is to ignore the problem(s) and look for another mechanism to cite blame. While you ask me to not blame all muslims for these acts (the buyer said "the car is red," the salesman followed up with "the car is red.",) of which I do not and have not, I ask you to not make excuses for those that do these things in the name of their religion.

While you may be able to look at the site in question and think "good people" chop off heads, kill others, blow up subways, et al, I don't. But I do find your efforts to continue to suggest I categorize "all" under the same umbrella a valiant effort, though quite vain. Nice try, but you can do better ;)

Any other recent history you care to rewrite?

It is YOU who fails to grasp.

Again, the problem is NOT Islam. It is those who pervert it.

... or does your muslim wife condone these actions by virtue of her being a muslim???

No, she rejects Islam, its teaching of misogyny, and its approval of violence towards women.

    duh.

For her actions, Islamic law says that she should be killed.

She's not so OK with that, nor am I.

I am sickened that several people here are OK with that.

Can you or your wife who suppose to be the "AUTHORITATIVE" source on Islam, shows me one Islamic country that states in government documents or it's criminal code that RAPE is legal?

Can you or your wife who suppose to be the "AUTHORITATIVE" source on Islam, shows me one Islamic country that does not have a criminal code for punishment of crime of RAPE?

There goes gworld, completely ignoring everything that has been written in the thread thus far and instead posting something completely irrelevant.

gworld, what sort of medication are you on?

Whatever it is, is it destroying your ability to keep track of information from one moment to the next. Talking to you is like trying to hold a conversation with an alzheimers patient.

Your stupidity surprises me since as jail house queen with first hand experience about rapes, you should know that rape is not legal in Canada.
Why are you so much against Canadians? Was your big daddy in Jail a Canadian? Even if he was, you can not seriously blame all Canadian for his actions. ;)

gworld, you are a poor ambassador for Canada.

That is, if you really are Canadian. So much of what you post is not true, that it is not reasonable that we should believe any of the personal details which you post.

There's no doubt who he stands up for and who he doesn't.

I like to watch him get angry. I just know behind that monitor, steam is pouring out of ears that look like satellite dishes, face red, eyes squinted, pounding the keyboard and screeching "arrgh, they saw right through me again. Those damn infidels!"

    little willy;

    What is not true?

It seems it is obvious by now that you are the liar who claim your wife to be the "AUTHORITATIVE" source on Islam without being able to provide any proof to support your lies.

Interesting..... hmm.... where did he claim she was? I can't find it... He clearly stated she knows quite a bit a grew up as a muslim, so I would assume she knows a lot more than you, unless you are going to finally admit that you are a muslim (extremist)

Now, if you honestly thought I walked on water, you would have been calling me GWB all along. :D

I'm not rewriting history here GTech. I'm simply saying that you can't throw up your "rap sheet" as if to say "this is islam". That just doesn't cut it.
Your country (so far) is mostly christian and you have the death penalty. My country is also (so far) mostly christian and we do not have the death penalty.
So, is the death penalty part of christianity or not? Parts of the bible can be put forth in favour of it and other parts can be used to argue against it. Even christians are divided on the issue. So how can you expect islam to be any different?

That's very funny. You say that as if you came out in favour of my point of view. Who's attempting to do rewrites now?

Although I can't say that I'm surprised, you misunderstood me completely. If you think I'm making excuses for or defending these nut jobs, then you haven't been paying attention. I don't excuse any of these acts, no matter what religion they are done in the name of. Think about it for a second, GTech. Some nut job flies a plane into a building in NYC or he slits the throat of someone in a desert in Iraq and he says he does this in the name of Islam. Guys like that just hate and they want YOU to hate muslims. You are falling right into his trap. The guy is a nut job. Period. It is not in the name of Islam and muslims are not responsible. Muslims are no more responsible than you are responsible for the actions of a few KKK members just because you share the same religion. Nut jobs. Period.
What if some guy flies a plane into a building in NYC again and he does it, not in the name of Islam, but in the name of donuts? Are you then going to be against donuts? Will I begin to see you post link after link about the dangers of donuts? Will we get the donut recipe in place of your "rap sheet"? Did it ever occurr to you that these people might not be ambassadors of their religion? Think man!

You, again, completely misunderstood. I wasn't saying that good people chop off heads, but, this time, I can see where you went wrong. Allow me to reiterate the statement that prompted your misunderstanding, this time, a little clearer.

"You seem intelligent, so I have to ask why you are taking direction from these nut jobs and formulating opinions of the many good people of islam based on their (the jackasses from your rap sheet) actions???"
I wasn't defending the guys from your link. I was again stating that you can't judge the good people by their actions. It's not reasonable.

Actually, you are attempting to rewrite, by suggesting I've said something and taken a position on, that I have not. Multiple times, might I add. And as long as you continue to do such, I'll remind you of such.

The "rap sheet" isn't mine. It was an attention getter for those that make excuses for (including justifying) the actions. And I still see, no matter how delicate it's attempted, the same excuse making.

Outside of that, it really doesn't matter. If you wish to excuse, justify or find moral equivalence, you are more than welcome to do so. I'm perfectly comfortable with the positions I take and they don't include what you have tried to suggest.
