    Read any American newspaper any day. Death, destruction, rape, murder, etc. Are you somehow "above it all"?

    Christianity The Religion of Peace:

    Lets see below how peaceful Christians and westerners have been during the crusades, to slaves, to indians, to "witches" and more ;)

    The Christian Enslavers:
    Christians massacre Indians/Natives
    The Crusades:

    If i remember right I think Hitler claimed to be a Christian too, and as long as we're counting anyone who claims to be Muslim in Gtech's rap sheep - we have to include Hitler's killings in Christianity too.

    Couldn't find anything recent? Say, like some nutjob driving into Home Depot in your state?

    During the crusades? Shame on those Christians for fighting back!

    What? We could add every time the KKK has killed someone, they claim to be Christians too ;)

    Just fighting back? Sounds like the Pope started it all ;)

    I also forgot to add Hitler's murder's to the Christian rap sheet - but its up there now ;)

    Still no rap sheet? Surely you can find some moral equivalence to justify your friends?

    There were seven major Crusades. The era the Crusades the first began in 1095 with Pope Urban II's famous speech and the ended in 1291 when Acre, the last of the Latin holdings in Palestine, was lost. The major Crusades were:

    the first, 1095-1099, called by Pope Urban II and led by Peter the Hermit, Walter the Penniless, Godfrey of Bouillon, Baldwin and Eustace of Flanders, and others (see also first crusade);

    the second, 1147-49, headed by King Louis VII who was enlisted by Bernard of Clairvaux, was a disastrous failure, including the loss of one of the four Latin Kingdoms, the Duchy of Edessa;

    the third, 1188-92, proclaimed by Pope Gregory VIII in the wake of the catastrophe of the second crusade, which conducted by Emperor Frederick Barbarossa, King Philip Augustus of France and King Richard "Coeur-de-Lion" of England;

    the fourth, during which Constantinople was sacked, 1202-1204 (see also fourth crusade);

    the fifth, which included the conquest of Damietta, 1217-1221;

    the sixth, in which Frederick II took part (1228-29); also Thibaud de Champagne and Richard of Cornwall (1239);

    the seventh, led by St. Louis (Louis IX of France), 1248-50; 3

    I'm not bashing America. I merely pointed out that America has it's share of problems too. You point your finger at muslim countries as if your hands are clean. I pointed out that they aren't. That's all. Does it bother you to be on the same level as muslims or something?

    Simply illuminating! And why didn't Christians just want to lay down and die?

    Go on, you can still quote from the same link :D

    Or do you want to go down that road?

    Let's take them in order, shall we?

    Holocaust. Did Christians in America participate in that? Or was it some nutjob trying to rule the world, some say who was a Jew, others say he was a Christian?

    Slaves. History. Slavery is STILL part of islam today. Doesn't look too good from the moral equivalence stand point.

    Indians. I'm part Indian myself. History.

    KKK - Their own organization not a religion. I don't know of any Christians that support in the least bit what they do. History. They hate anything not white and Jews. Most Christians I know (in fact, don't know any otherwise) don't hate Jews.

    Is that really the best you can do to justify the actions of what takes place daily? Surely you have something?

    Just like "Al-queda" ;)

    Just because it's history doesn't mean it's any better than what some muslims are doing now.

    You can't discount Hitler's holocaust, it was motivated by Christianity. Same for the KKK's killings.

    Many muslims claims they don't support the things you speak of... your keeping a double standard. I think both groups of full of it and need to drop religion period. But that's just me being rational ;)

    Yeh, because when you attack Islam on a daily basis, you're not attacking Muslims :rolleyes: but when anyone points out America's flaws they're "america bashers" :rolleyes:

    DOUBLE STANDARDS ARE FOR HYPOCRITS :)

    Yes. I'm glad you finally see the light. It took you long enough, but I knew you'd come around. You speak as if Muslims are the only trouble makers on the planet. You forget that you have no shortage of them in America (Muslims and non-Muslims). You sound like you want to label all Muslims as terrorists and nut jobs. I simply pointed out the error of your ways and helped you see the light. Muslims aren't ALL bad, you know. :rolleyes:

    News to me. But I'm not opposed to the same treatment for both. The last I head anything of their scum was when they dragged a man through the street in Texas.

    So some societies evolve, others do not. And somewhere, there is some justification for head chopping, throat slitting, subway bombing. Had to go back pretty far, eh?

    Actually, I can and I do discount it completely.

    Not at all. Many muslims are very peaceful people. That's no reason to seek moral equivalence to an ongoing world problem and somehow justify it.

    Oklahoma City. Or is that still too far back for you? Not exactly a subway, but maybe you could allow a little bit of leeway on that one.

    I'm glad to hear you say that. There's hope for you still.

    The proverbial black light, where only something can be seen in secret link. But glad you noted the sarcasm.

    I take it you didn't find a rap sheet?

    Not in the least bit. But, if you could somehow get that point out, even when it's not true, it might create an illusion that you can work with. It's really a good strategy to work with. It's not original, but it *might* just work if you keep repeating it enough. Let me know how it works?

    Might want to get a new pointer ;)
