Womens Rights -- Are they for all women or just some women?

From what I know about your way of thinking, I will not be surprised that you think that a 12 year old girl who gets gang raped by a group of soldiers should be happy that she had the opportunity to serve the sexual needs of American soldiers.

I don't know about the school system where you grew up. But, where I went to school, "same as the other guy" stopped being a valid answer to (pretty much) any question around the time I started going to school for a full day instead of a half day. So, if you consider that a valid response to my question, then I think we're done here.

If, on the other hand, "same as the other guy" is NOT your reason for posting those links, then please, for those of us too daft to grasp concepts too complex for humans beneath Gtech, state the reason that you are posting so many links to human carnage that appears to have muslim ties on this thread.

I do not bash the Marine corp. They are one of the best fighting forces in the world but our Canadian soldiers still kick their butt in a man to man fight.

My post was about the stupidity of little willy post that puts some kind of moral task on the soldiers. It is not their duty and it never was. Marines are a offensive force that have to be hard to get the ground when they go in the battlefield but since little willy knowledge of military is limited to his video games and TV, he thinks of them as some kind of politically correct, sensitive heroes to the rescue of the poor and needy.

I would actually like a pork chop for dinner but I think we are going to have salmon for dinner. Where are you located? I will be in Detroit next month (superbowl), if you are close then I can come by, have a beer and tell you in person what a dumb ass I think you are.

Being a woman (well, a female at least, I think of myself more as a "girl" ) it's natural that I would sympathise with the "women of the world" in general - we have at least one thing in common. And, just to state the obvious, nobody likes to get raped - it's part of the definition of the word anyway. If you enjoy it, it's not rape.

Still, I'm not sure if this law is "for the greater good" of that specific community or not - I mean, who are we to judge?!

It's all a question, I would think, of whether "more people would be happier one way or another". Stupidly philosophical, but true, in my not-so-humble opinion

 

This is not 100% correct. Any time you force someone to engage in a sexual act against their will that is a rape. For example it is not uncommon for rape victim to get sexually aroused during the rape which in many cases causes that they will even feel worse about it. Also in cases with drugs, the victim is not aware of what is happening and can not like or dislike it.

Rape is a violent act which has more to do with violence, power and control than actual sex. It is morally and legally wrong and unfortunately it is committed by people from all kind of social class, race and religion.

Mr. Nazir was a 40 year old guy. How could he have and elder daughter who MARRIED against her will. He only had three daughters.
His eldest daughter was 12 years old.
Mr. Nazir Ahmad loved his wife and children. Like a real father does. That day when he came home he waited for the night, killed his daughters and went straight to the police station and told them all of what he did. A policeman who was holding him was filled with emotions, killed him with his hand gun.
Something doesnt feel so good here. Why would a father kill his daughters.
But here's the real thing: Mr. Nazir Ahmad was a MENTAL PATIENT. The guyz who worked with him told the newreporters. He had already been taken to the doctor three times.
