"Many women who do not dress modestly ... lead young men astray, corrupt their chastity and spread adultery in society, which increases earthquakes," Hojatoleslam Kazem Sedighi was quoted as saying by Iranian media.

The Iranian government and its security forces have been locked in a bloody battle with a large opposition movement that accuses Ahmadinejad of winning last year's vote by fraud.

Ahmadinejad made his quake prediction two weeks ago but said he could not give an exact date. He acknowledged that he could not order all of Tehran's 12m people to evacuate. "But provisions have to be made ... at least 5 million should leave Tehran so it is less crowded," the president said.

 

LOL I doubt he believes that. It's strategy for something. He's a smart guy acting retarded. It worked for quite a few politicians in the past.

What percentage of your country believe in this nonsense? Maybe 30? So ask yourself what effect it has, who benefits and maybe we get a little bit closer to the truth.

 

That is of course, scientifically accurate. Further, the magnitude of the earthquake is a complex formula based on amount of cleavage shown, height of Stiletto footwear worn at any one time, and shade of lipstick.

From my professional view, i would say that he might have an infarct on the Broca's area in his frontal inferior gyrus of his brain causing what we usually called as expressive dysphasia, meaning he can't express what he actually wanted to say. You used to be able to track Oprah Winfrey by her seismic signature. There may be some fact to all this.

 

As usual, people and news agencies giving more importance to the voice of a religious fanatic who may be suffering from a mental disorder. The clergy is not a prophet to dictate stuff. Many a times people come into position of power and make ludicrous statements, Few clergy s are the usual party to this disorder. some of these Clergys have even gone ahead to say that anybody can become a prophet etc etc ... To be honest - Islam does foretell about doomsday and so does every other major religion. If the clergy is squarely blaming it all on sort women clothes then its high time they stop glaring at those women, instead pray and seal a place for themselves in heaven.

Definitely. In Oprah's case, it's the jeans that are creating environmental changes. It's a proven fact that undisclosed authority figures actually believe Oprah's tight fitting jeans generate seismic waves. Which is of course, just common sense. You can't expect to wear form-fitting jeans like that, without expecting a dramatic effect on the frequency, and magnitude of earthquakes.

I painted my nails recently and there were TWO minor earthquakes in Australia this month.... *shame*

 

When my neigbor got married (who stays on the floor above me) - whole night there was lot of shaking and we thought it was due to earthquake , just imagine if thousands couple get under earth and perform , will not there be earthquake ?

earth quack is real threat for Iran and we have massive earth quack every 10 years and a lot of people died so far.
Tehran built in three active cleft and it's long times that experts predict Tehran would have a massive earth quack according to history of Tehran and records but it's a question for us why regimen was neglect so far and now they found this threat so dangerous.
Regimen nowadays encountered with huge number of opposition protesters mostly students (youth) and people think they want to get rid of them because in the first government want to move universities out of Tehran!
Ironic is Mullahs try to justify earth quack problem because lack of faith in Iranian people because of weak Islamic aspects for women to show their hair in public and in opposition movements.

 

recently one of our newspaper found a scientific cause for Iceland Volcano!
it's simple reason. Europe tried for new sanctions on Iran and allied with USA for that.
