I guess some have seen this on the news where this women stepped on the gas, and run her car off a 7 story garage, now she is suing the garage for stepping on the gas, and running her own car off the garage.... Do you think it is the fault of the garage for not having updated barriers.... or do you think the driver was at fault for stepping on the gas causing the accident? I think this is the women's fault... This was a preventable accident, and was caused by a careless driver that accidently stepped on the gas... talk about a frivolous lawsuit that she directly caused, and wants to blame someone else..... Reckless driving at its best... (its not my fault for being reckless, it is their fault for not protecting my reckless driving...) she is suing for 1 million dollars.... (for wrecking her own car, ROFL...)
If they can prove that the retention wires were not sufficiently strong, she may get what she wants. Her lawyer will get some big bucks too, so he/she is personally interested. The "reckless driving" defense strategy won't stand a chance.
