its really good. Try putting names of fruits and it brings up the nutritional value .. I mean Wow.. By the way I think Gizmodo had a comparison of Wolfram Alpha Vs Google
Or, maybe your dumb. Wolfram Alpha uses all the best sources available online, so unless you have more knowledge than the internet capacity you can't really talk the slightest. And, for your information, in 2006 the internet is approximately 46,311,474 petabytes large and that's from around 7 billion sites. I'm sure the internet capacity is about 40 times that now, and growing about 10 times larger every year. If we hosted all the internet in one country, we'd need the size of Russia at least. It looks like you are very smart if you actually had the brains to post such a remarkable, but stupid comment.
This is search engine but it is different type of search engine. Consider as answer type search engine.
Not a fan of the name..Wolfram Alpha isn't the easiest thing to tell a friend without him asking what's that, or how to spell it. I asked it to compare the size of new jersey and california and it didn't know what I was talking about. Same thing with an elephant and a whale. I know that's asking a lot but from what I read about it, I assumed it could handle crazy calculations. I guess I have to mess around with it more to untap the power.
It's a cool concept but they have a lot left to do before it's actually usable. I mean sure if you type in a math equation it can answer it, but almost any normal search someone does it has a hard time coming up with an answer. I found it mostly useless as of its current build.
I have used......... its amazing its my Math friendly as i have typed my brithday its provide wounderful result.......... some new features are also added.........
I think it is only for scientists. Also nice geographical data. Check Italy Input interpretation: Italy Now check Poland Assuming "poland" is a country - is it strange ?.. Assuming ...
Hmm... I did a blog post about this search engine it can be found here. Overall I think it's a pretty good idea. Alot of people were saying that it was a Google competitor but it quite clearly isn't because they both do different things.
It seems like this thread was started just to try and make some AdSense cash on a popular keyword/topic. Lame.
