I have also converted my forums from phpbb to VB, very user friendly. Very nice forums and covered all most all the topics. You can convert to VB 4.00 from 11th December. Good luck G!
The design of the site is clean and nice but what is your main site target? Any targeted niche? Or is it a general forum. IMHO its best to get something more specific so that a targeted traffic can join and participate more baed on their interest.
Slick design. What made you want to switch from free script to overpriced one? I'm curious cause I'm currently looking at options to switch from MyBB.
Have you considered changing the "Post Icons"? There is a neat collection by Miss Shelley at her vbsmiley dot com forum that will look better on dark styles, such as the one you're using.
