.wmv video and audio out of synch

I've been provided a .wmv video that has the video and audio out of synch.
When the video plays in Windows Media Player on my desktop (Windows XP) the video is out of synch, AND when it's played in Windows MovieMaker, the sound of the person speaking on the video starts a bit before the person's mouth begins to move (still out-of-synch). How can I adjust this synch issue in Windows MovieMaker?

    Hello,
So you should have two tracks in Windows Movie Maker, one is video track where is your video clip,
and the other is audio track where lies audio for the video clip. You should simply select the file on audio track and nudge it (move it) a bit right.
Then play the video and see if sync is ok, if not move the audio file again until it gets in sync.

Write if you encounter new problems. Cheers

If the original video is out of sync, I doubt that the software you recommend here can help us correct the video.

You'd better try another professional video editing software.
I recommend AVS Video Editor. Very easy to use, simple and fast enough for casual use.
