Hello DP folks, I have got a little question regarding a my project - MSN/WLM Quickbot. Site about Quickbot: dnreg.org/bot/ The bot is running quite good - I have got like 700 unique users per a day, ~25000 messages. But I have soon faced a problem, because I can't afford paying for the hosting on my own - 30$ per month for Windows platform. I'd like to know if it is possible to sell advertisement in my bot? Like this: If yes, where can I sell this advertisement space? Everybody seem to be intertested only in websites, not in bots. Thank you, Quickbot Founder
Do you have more stats, ie. how many unique user per month. Do you require user to register (I notice not but maybe from some other ways).. If your demographic user is attractive, you might be able to sell yr ads space over at DP.. For $30 per month.. I don't think it'll be a problem.. I might even be your first one.. cheers
@azlanhussain I have got ~15k unique users per month. There is online statistics page: http://dnreg.org/bot/statistics.php - This page is updated every 12 h automatically My users are coming from Great Britain, Spain, Turkey, Canada, USA In order to use my bot, they need to add the robot to their MSN contact list. After they add it, they can access it anytime by clicking in their contact list. I haven't got detailed Audience Demographic information, but this is what Microsoft provides for Messenger Network: http://advertising.microsoft.com/windows-live-messenger?tab=profile The Advertisement in my robot seem to be quite effective, because the test link in Quickbot was being visited by 100-150 unique people per a day.
