Without Knowledge of On page can i start seo work ??

    SEO is split into two distinct parts:

    1) On page SEO - can be quite technical
    2) Off page SEO - broadly about getting links back to your site

    Part #2 is generally much more important than part #1, so you can start building links straight away - probably you'll start seeing a change in your rankings. But you should still get familiar with on-page SEO soon, as fundamental problems with your site could stop you being listed in the search engines at all, or could make your off-page work less effective than it would otherwise be.

    On page work involves title, keyword and description. Every web sites should have these attributes(title,keyword,description). Its not possible to start seo work without on page.

    Ya you can start work without knowledge. If you do work then you get the idea of on page work effect so don't worry and start your work.

    Really you should have at least a bit of HTML knowledge. You COULD start work without that as in backlinks, but what are you linking to? Are the URL's SEO friendly? Are the keywords laid out correctly?

    Still, the most essential HTML work is description, title, headers and alt tags. Remember the alt tag ... it is your friend. Every image should have one.

    Yes you can do backlink building and those kind of offpage factors. However, for best results, you need at least a basic level of onpage skills.

    No, you need to first start from the on-page SEO before go for off-page SEO

    how about participating in a marathon race with one of legs folded and tied with your waist. Seo without onpage is just the same, without proper onpage you can run but you can't think of getting the top rank unless your domain is too old or drags thousands of visitors with a good stick time.
