Not true. There are so many people out there creating a website for purpose just to share information instead of just to make money from Adsense. Beside that, Adsense is not just way to make money online.

And even Adsense doesn't exist, people will still find a new way to make money from their website.

this is very very untrue !!!

if adsense disappear then all those advertisers will search another network and hence all the other ad networks will gain a stake of the industry....

the 95% of the websites will vanish when the advertisers will not be interested in online ads !!

Adsense may be an important player in its niche but not the only one. There are alternatives, always. Besides, many of the webmasters are making tons of dollars through affiliate marketing. But most of the mfa sites will vanish, for sure :)

Like someone else already said, 95% of MFA sites would vanish. There are lots of other ways to make money on the net.

I think lots of sites would dissapear, but I'd still be working on mine as I do it out of enjoyment rather than for the money. I guess it is just an hobby really!

95% is an unrealistic percentage, however, the sites that would "vanish" because of this probably aren't worth being around sinse most would have been created because of Adsense.

All the MFA sites will vanish. The other quality sites will last with other Ad agencies.

A bigger percentage would be gone if they took away all blogspot pages, there is probably a million of those

None of them will disappear. Adsense pays the lowest of any method there is to monitize a site, collecting email addresses and selling products is where the real money is online. (selling your visitors for a lousy 50 cents! come on people use your heads!)

Gotta partly agree with you.. Some sites use AdSense alone for generating revenue. They may find it hard. It'll end all MFA sites , at the least. But their number has significantly gone down too..
Established sites and others which do private ad sales / affiliate sales will NOT perish if adsense goes down. But they will if Google goes down. Google is the Pandora's box of traffic for most of the sites

It doesn't mean they would fail. If you owned a few websites and adsense vanished, it's not like you would just park your domain and stop being a webmaster. You would find alternative PPC or affiliate advertising to create revenue.

Gotta agree with you buddy /.. The real money lies in e-commerce and affiliate sales.. Not from displaying ads on sites.

if there wont be adsense, than there are many alternative trying so hard to compete adsense, they will take place.
And the fact is it wont happen, cause adsense is the major source of income for google, why would they?
