Withdrawal to India banks from Paypal through XOOM is Working. Confirmed and Tested.

Alright so I just contacted Xoom indian customer care just an hour back at their toll free number 18001801233 and they told me that because of the RBI Guidelines even the verified accounts wont be able to do self withdrawal now

Waiting to see if other peoples get through

 

i tried this same method. but paypal cancelled my request.

so it does not work.

 

Paypal havent canceled it.
Zoom has refused to intra-india Payments.

 

It would appear as if Xoom is charging more. But if you compare it with paypal currency conversion rate its more or less the same.

If you withdraw lower amounts like 100 or 200 US$ there might be a difference of 200-300 extra. However if you go for higher amounts like 1000 US$ there is no big difference. And believe me Xoom is really fast. My last payment was credited in less than 24 hours (didnt receive any verification calls BTW).

Xoom's currency conversion rate is far better than paypal. Also they are very transparent in saying that Xoom may generate revenue through currency conversions. And there commission rate is explicit.

 

Well it worked yesterday! I am in conversation with a Xoom verification department person and he wants to know

1. Why I am transferring funds to myself
2. The last 3 months paypal history

This is in addition to the the documents which I already sent.

 

so after the partner processing did they ask you to verify these or before completing they asked the same ?

 

This is the 2nd transfer am doing, and it is stuck at "Xoom Processing" phase. And they asked for the details that I mentioned.

 

Rockking .. i have initiated too and i have status as partner processing , well i selected Bank Deposit to Axis Bank . how long it should take ? any idea ?

hi guys i have transfer money form paypal to xoom and from xoom to bank account recently my status in xoom is deposit processing and this status they give notice that " you amount deposit soon in your bankaccount " anybody know what is last step of xoom?

 

is anyone transfer in SBI bank?

what was the mode ??? bank deposit ?? if so did it cross the partner processing level ... as i m new , i am having that status now , dont know whats next , ?

4. Transfer in Progress
5. Deposit in Progress
6. Transaction Completed

 

for number 5 i have Partner Processing . have you left it out or its a new way of updating status.

 

Ok guys, status update.

My second withdrawal has been verified by xoom and is now in "Transfer in Progress" status.

I withdrew $2900

For verification XOOM asked me for

1. Govt. issued ID proof with photo.
2. Recent utility bill or statement showing name and complete address.
3. The reason why I am transferring funds to myself.
4. Paypal history of last 3 months

After providing all these it took hardly 40 minutes for them to verify and process the withdrawal.

 

any body know howmuch time take xoom for step diposit progress to process completed step
