Now i have mailed them and asked why my transaction is canceled hope so i will get reply soon from xoom costumer service ....

 

actually xoom also don't know why they cancel for some people and why they allow for some. lol
actually they are confused with too much traffic nowadays

I guess most of Indian Users used coupon codes ..
There were threads created requesting not to use coupon codes and i also believed that xoom deserves the fees ..
Well the same thing that lead to paypal problem,the same greed lead to the close of xoom option for us ..
If no one had used coupon code then xoom would have earned nice profits and they would have never closed their doors ...
I transferred close to 300USD 10 days ago and it was smooth transaction.. even though i knew the coupon code,i didn't used it.
I am going to do a transaction with xoom tomorrow,lets try my luck with it ..
PS: I wont use any coupon code tomorrow .. they DESERVE THE FEE

 

Using Coupon Codes might not be the reason for stopping transactions. If that was the reason they could have just disabled using coupon codes. Its money for them and why would any business man stop such a profitable business for a trivial reason?

 

listen I think xoom has stopped transactions through paypal. I transfered 1200$a week back and it was smooth, though I cant seem to make a transaction since yesterday.
I was wondering if anyone has tried using the credit card to pay an amount to bank?

 

My transaction got declined too today.

Can anyone suggest me any other method to withdraw from Paypal?

Are you sure it is stopped? If it is, can you point me to a official declaration of sorts. If not, stop spreading unfounded rumors. We are already having a hard time with these payment delays and do not want this kind misleading news floating around and adding to the confusion and misery.

I started this thread to help people and tell them that xoom transaction works, with proof. If you have something important to say, add the proof.

 

ooh .. xooom are dumb how can rules be for some people and not for others.. maybe its check processing .. which bank ?

 

i am not spreading rumours i am telling what people have reported i will be trying myself to transfer funds but most of the people have reported that there Transaction was cancelled.

I used to use xoom alot before paypal started their own bank transfer

Xoom never allowed intra-India transfers as it is not allowed to do so by the RBI, as its not a registered bank in India. it clearly states people can NOT send money to themselves. (read it somewhere on their site)

the thing being people who put the same address/ email in sender and recipient fields, get their transaction flagged for verification, which is where loads of people are getting their transactions canceled.

and to the best of my belief once your transaction is canceled, your email too is flagged!

It doesnt matter which country or city, but keep address & email different,...
if you can keep city different well & good, (u should have someone at both addresses in case of any verification , i use my grandparents address as the sender)

and cross your fingers!

too some extent that aint true coz i asked a friend in australia to do the transcation but that too got reversed
