    It depends on your bank, will be marked "cleared" after one day usually. In HDFC Bank it will be marked "Value Date", usually for the next day after the cheque was credited to the account. Login one day after the cheque has been credited to your account after 4pm. You should find your balance has increased by the cheque amount unless it is a holiday/weekend.

    hi so should i go ahead with xoom.com for withdrawal because paypal has no date , just got a email and i think cheque thing will take long time .
    please suggest i have a citibank account will it work with xoom

    If xoom cancels your one transaction there is no use of using that xoom and paypal account again, cause they will cancel blindly all the other tranactions. If you have a relative account (mom, dad, bro) at paypal (personal or premier but verified if you have unverified account verify it before trying with xoom) use that account to withdraw by creating a xoom account on their name and withdrawing money to their bank account.

    What I did right this time is that I copied the exact same address from my paypal account and which I gave to xoom (copy and paste exactly same).

    I used same email for sender and receiver.


    That helped me.

    1st one $1000
    Initiated on Feb 16
    2nd one $1500
    Initiated on Feb 18 (yesterday)

    Dont know why they canceling other's transfers
