Withdrawal to India banks from Paypal through XOOM is Working. Confirmed and Tested.

Just made 3rd .. same as other two .. transfer in progress within 2 mins . this time i didnt used a coupon too .. there isnt any around!

 

This is really a bad news. So be cautious guys make only one or max 2 withdrawals per month. It won't be possible to make many accounts there. So we have only this choice to send money till paypal is back.

 

Can you be a little more clear. How come Xoom is processing the request and canceling mine? I have a premier account on my name, same as the name on bank account. yet it does not go through. It gets canceled within 2 minutes.

 

Was it your first transaction through xoom?

I transferred $1000 yesterday, used coupon too. Got money in less than 24 hrs

Nope! I transferred a $1000 to my ICICI bank, they deposited in less than 24 hrs

 

How much you transferred each time? what is the duration between each transfer? and did you get the funds? if not, why didnt you wait for your last transaction complete ??

 

When a transfer to bank account request is made on a weekend and your bank does not operate on weekends, the transfer gets completed only on the next banking day. This is not an issue with xoom; it is an issue of the recipient bank not being able to receive the transfer because they are closed at the moment.
At the same time you need to make sure that you supplied the correct banking information.
Xoom is very reliable. I have never had any problems with it.

 

Has anybody been able to transfer the money into their current bank account or is the withdrawal possible only to a savings account?

I am a verified premier paypal account and put my all complete details real like address and bank account details of HDFC.

I make a xoom account with the same email id and put my all details as in paypal account.

But I got canceled and here is the reply from xoom

As there was a problem in withdrawing money from paypal , i made bank deposit using XOOM ... to my ICICI bank account but still money is not credited ...Its really frustrating below are the details :

Its fourth day after my transaction , STILL MONEY NOT RECEIVED

I think you should receive it today since 14th was a weekend and 2 days have gone by maybe today is your day.If ICICI employees still are in a valentines day mood i guess that is the reason for the delay

Yes, it will apply to PayPal also. Perhaps they are not following that rule. Maybe that is why they have been banned by RBI?

 

Don't worry, your transaction will be with the local partner bank now. They will process and reply to Xoom. 14th was Sun. It will update in 24-48 hours

You may receive payment by cheque not by NEFT.
