and one last thing i remember 2-3 years back there was lot of debate that xoom is not legal to accept payments is it the case now too? please clarify guys

 

check again...mine has reached "Transfer in progress" and paypal shows "completed"

 

They are doing everything under regulators low and they follow same steps which other companies following so don't worry about it.

WOW Xoom is so fast guys I doubt if paypal can match their service when it comes to money transfer.
I initiated a transfer from xoom to bank account yesterday @ 9.50pm and today 8.00pm I got the funds in my bank account. It just took less than 24 hours!

For others who have already done the xoom transfer: There is few hours gap between the time Xoom posts the transaction as completed and the funds to show up in your actual bank account. So dont panic if your bank account doesnt show up the funds instantly.

 

what s the point of the coupon?

 

If you use a coupon and it is active, you do not have to pay the transaction fee.

i just gave xoom transfer but no coupon worked.

Atleast some one there to get home in our pocket. well xoom is there for long my friend used xoom to transfer money quickly to his bank account when paypal used cheque which take longtime to reach u and encash it.

Two days more lot of coupon worked for xoom. But I think Xoom closed all his coupon because of sudden huge traffic to there site. So don't waste your time on searching coupon.

I tried 30 coupons today no use but sure i am happy to get my money from paypal as i need it very urgently

 

okay can somebody pls direct me to the procedure/requirements or paste any relevant info here (I know there must be some on the official site) but I need the insider's view.....

Xoom is saver for us, really i also used it and got some funds todayy..

 

Well if you are trying to withdraw your paypal funds via XOOM, select only the "Direct Bank Deposit" option. I guess they dont allow cash pickup.

Try to create a xoom account with the same email as your paypal id. This would prove that you are the genuine sender of the funds. Maybe for the first time you could try with a smaller amount and if it works next time you can do it with higher amount with confidence. When entering the recipients bank acct info make sure (double check) you have entered the correct account info (bank name, city, address and acct #). Because if you make a mistake the funds might be credited to an incorrect account and you wont get a refund for that...

And last stuff is that your paypal account needs to be a verified account.

My paypal address is differnt location in INDIA
My bank address is different it will create any problem???

Are you used your old Xoom account??? are just you created new one??

guys could you let me know what details should i use for "sender" of the payment. Should i use exact same details in both "sender" and "receiver" fields? how can send the money to myself. wouldn't it defeat the whole purpose of sending-receiving payments. Sender has to be different from the receiver. I mean even if I am acting as a sender of this payment, should i use "imaginative" US address and then put my real address in the "receiver" field? I am still not sure how to go ahead with this? I really want my money back from the hands of PayPal. thank you for helping me out on this. I read somewhere that Xoom doesn't allow intra-india transfers so i wanted to make sure i am doing it right before i go ahead and do it. thanks!

 

I am also thinking of withdrawal of my money through xoom. But when I calculated the difference is about Rs400 according to my transactions around 200 dollar. But looking upon the conditions now there is no other option.
A very good feature of xoom is if you withdraw $25 you will be charged $9.99 fees.
But if you withdraw $1000 the charge will be only $29.99
Means if your withdrawal amount goes up the charge they take will go inversely proportional.
