I tried 3 times and it canceled,
Use same email as paypal to signup,
same address details, name for both sender,recipient and paypal
name in bank account matches name in paypal

please advise what did I do wrong

first time if you mess , you are messed . transfer ur amount to any other paypal and send it via xoom as the same procedure . be sure you use different browser or clear your cookies while transacting.

 

OK, I can manage one more sleepless night

Asked client to check wire-transfer and to use it from next time onwards. Do not want to take a chance with Paypal again And checking the fees, it is nearly the same ! And I will get better exchange rates on wire transfer.

is this with bank or still with xoom ?

 

xoom is working fine as I was able to withdraw $250 to my bank account with in two days time.
I have been seeing a lot of people here saying that they are having a hard time with xoom, so I would want to make myself clear that I got my money in the bank account, so for me it worked fine. For those who feels that xoom is unreliable then you should try withdrawing a smaller amount for testing xoom. If it works fine then go for higher amoun. This is all what can be done at the moment if you want to get your money soon.

There are various other methods like 2CO, but I am yet to try them. So, I can not comment on that.
Till date, I can say that xoom rocks

 

It must be with xoom because, when I requested for a transfer, after 10-15 hours the status at xoom was "completed". However, Money got credited after two days. So, I feel it is with xoom as of now.

 

Today is sunday , so it cant be with the bank..

 

Yeah and tomorrow is also holiday in USA...lol

 

I requested a withdrawal to bank on 12th Feb afternoon.I called them up yesterday and they said to wait till monday evening.hope i get my money.

I sent them 700$ in first try only as i have seen many posts here they are legit.many are getting their payouts in less than 1 day but i dint.Very scared now.

 

We all waiting to get money... i also withdraw 540$ at first time. The reason for delay is due saturday(only half day working) and sunday(Holiday)

whats there to be scared off???xoom is a big firm and isnt any scam..even if for any reason you dont get money in your bank then you will see the refund in your paypal
