frndz please also post the bank and the mode of withdrawl like cheque / bank deposit / cash pickup

 

I think you should call to the customer care,because the transfer takes 2 to 3 business day,so if the time exceeds and if you still didn't get the payment hen please contact to customer care of XOOM.

 

Yeah i have already called them and they said the money 'll be credit in your bank in next 48 hours maximum so 'll update soon this after get the money.....

I would just like to know if there is any chance of rejection of the transaction at this point of time??

Also, I observe it just takes around 2 hours to change from 'partner processing' to 'deposit in progress'?

Can some one help??

 

bro xoom is reliable only when your payment is verified and then it shows partner processing or blah blah. At this stage we can be 80% sure that the money will be in our hand. So far i took xoom to be a small company but after using it i realised they are more professional than paypal and more faster than them. Although they have some restrictions of intra india transfer but when you use it for yourself and the things go right its just very safe to use Xoom . Recommended.

 

I just observed that for most of the 'deposit in progress' stage was attained with in 2 hours from the attainment of the previous stage and for me it already crossed 3 hours. Doesnot that mean much to worry about??

Some guy had 'partner processing' since 8th of feb.. what can we do in such a case??

But bro i have a question for your ....when i made first transaction from xoom that was really appreciated because i got the money in 24 hours but now 28 hours gone to my two of transactions and they 'll not reached in my bank account yet do you have any experience about it..?

 

hey did not u contact the customer support as they say to contact them if the fund is not received with in 2-3 days. please update.

 

No rejections from Xoom at this point of time . It may take time for NEFT and may vary with bank . Please dont panic . if the deposit doesnt take place 2-3 days after the status of Deposit in progress then only contact customer service and they will sort it out .

 

it may take time yaar , NEFT thing can vary . same used to happen in paypal . sometimes the saturday evening bank withdrawl used to come monday morning and sometimes it took 3 days or so . all depends on NEFT . I am assured of the transaction and i believe it will be in your bank soon , Just dont panic

I am sure XOOM never experienced this kind of huge demand for its service and they might have got overload by the work.
So it may take a little long time for amount to reach ...

 

ok thanks for the update. but i just observed that none of the dudes, those tried to transfer today morning, got in to the status of 'deposit in progress'. all waiting in 'payment processing'

some thing to be noted of, i thought.. if anyone has been the exception please post.

Hi Guys,

I called up Xoom cust service and asked them if it is possible to transfer from my Indian Paypal account to Indian Bank account. They asked me if I am residing in India, when I said yes, they said that you cannot do the transfer as it is considered as Intra India transfer and will be cancelled. What are you wonderful people doing there differently that you are able to do smooth transaction? Please help one of your other fellow Indians.

 

i suggest not to call up xoom to have a clarification for intra india transfer ... see .. i am living in India and i have a india paypal account , Yesterday i initiated a transfer of 2.8k USD via xoom. Now , on doing that they hold the order and asked to verify my identity ... allright ! i submitted my indian pan card and some alternate documents ... Now thing is that have they gone nuts when they know i am from india and i am transferring to myself... They are not fools , they know it can be done so they did not cancel the order . They even asked me why i want to transfer funds to myself. Now that question only a fool can ask when he knows intra india transfers are not allowed. So instead of asking or calling c.c please refer to a thread by DP user -hdwills , that way your order wont get cancelled.
