    In addition to drawing can be transferred to the india bank,you can also transfer the withdrawal from PayPal account to your credit card (when you verified paypal account).

    But I heard that if Xoom sees that withdrawal is intra country , they do not authorise it.

    You have to pay fees only to xoom (which included at the time of transfer). After that there is no any fees you need to pay.

    If you transfer $1000 today to xoom from your paypal then you will get 46,116.75 Indian Rupees. ($970 + $29.99 fees). No any other fees in this.

    Is there any advantage in using this xoom service since you are anyway routing your money from paypal to xoom and then to your Indian Bank Account.

    Why would anybody do this transaction, instead of directly withdrawing from paypal into the bank account? :confused:

    Xoom is good to use when you need to send money to someone else (not yourself) as well as save some tax ;) by sending your paypal funds to your relatives or friends :p though you have to pay fees for that.

    If you transfer $1000 from paypal to xoom then you will get INR funds for the value of $970 at current exchange rate. Hope now you understand this. For more details check with their site (xoom.com).

    Yes but it only happens when you select Cash Pick UP option. They allowed Bank transfer!
