With PR7 and need to get our selves up in search engines

    A company needs to get itself in the first page result page. its PR is 7. They have thousands of links made by virtual directories, like:

    www.company.com/RealDir/RealDir/VirtualDir/VirtualDir


    Any thoughts about virtual directories... any thoughts about taking advantage of the PR 7...

    Unfortunately the PR of a page doesn't matter unless you're trying to sell links. PR has no effect on SERPs. Although directories are a good way of getting links, links from quality relevant sites are weighed more so you could focus on that...getting quality inbound links..

    PR is uselessexcept when it comes to link sales.

    Try to get inbound links from external good PR external pages. Also choose carefully anchor text for those links.
