I was wondering whether i should submit the same content that is on my site to article directories and then put a link of my site down the bottom. Will this help my SEO? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Not quite. You could be "punished" for content duplication. What you should do is to create another version of your site and submit it with bio link.
No, because that would mean you would be competing with the article directories and you would get the ol' duplicate content penalty. Unless your site has a mega high PR, you do not want to compete with the article directories, the search engines love them more than you....sorry it's true. I make it a habit to write 1 article for my site, 1 article for ezinearticles.com, and then 1 for mass article submission. The submitted articles link back to my site and optimize the amount of free traffic hits I will acquire. So, in a nutshell, no, don't do that.
No... Don't do that, you are sure to be punished if you do it straight way. You know there are ways and means to do the things.... take the advise...and I am sure you will get the way...
what i have done is i have used 3 paragraphs the same from my sites, then i have made up a totally new last paragraph. So i have submitted 4 paragraphs in total. Is this okay? I made a new last paragraph even if the first 3 were clones?
I would better submit other conent to article directories, or else you may get duplicate content issue.
Everyone else is right only submit original articles not your website content. I would like to add that I only use ezinearticles anymore because all the others simply seemed like a waste of time. Maybe just my personal opinion, but it is easy to get burned out trying to submit articles to a large amount of different article sites. I just think if you stick with one site, ezinearticles, you will write more articles.
