With all the talk of images, I wonder if this style would violate Google's TOS

    Hahahaha, very clever, I guess it doesn't violate Google TOS. But I guess the upper ad won't always show images in certain pages.

    but it will not give much benefit that small thumbnail can give, But those are now against TOS, but this type of placement is not against TOS :D

    I don't see anything wrong with that because thats their header. They have been clever at this.

    That is a good idea, but is it worth it to implement something like that if you're using one ad to get another clicked? Keep in mind you only get to use 3 ad units, these two are kind of combined into a pseudo-big ad :p

    Let me rephrase if it didn't make sense, lol ... would it be more effective to use two ads together like the sample above or leave them separate?
